Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team For Thursday 9-6 pm and Saturday 9-2 pm.The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional dental care and education to patients of all ages. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dental office environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients, ensuring optimal oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software. Assist in managing patient flow and scheduling appointments efficiently. Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with familiarity in using Dentrix software being a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient interactions. Experience working with an periodontist is advantageous. Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus but not required. Italian Greek or Romanian speaking is of benefit
