We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Open Dental or similar software.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the dental office.
Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
2-3 day ( some weekends if needed)
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is preferred.
Experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar dental software is an advantage.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
