Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary support and ensuring patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Experience in a dental office setting preferred; familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus. Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to accommodate diverse patient populations. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on building rapport with patients. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
