Dental Hygienist Needed Part Time in West Kelowna! Make up to $70/hr!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management and appointment scheduling.
Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist in the application of sealants and fluoride treatments as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans for patients.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the dental office.
Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
Support orthodontic procedures as required, including taking impressions and X-rays.
Engage with pediatric patients to create a comfortable atmosphere during visits.
Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygiene license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Experience or knowledge in orthodontics is a plus.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Previous experience in dental assisting or working within a dental office is advantageous.
