Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and will be responsible for promoting oral health through preventive dental services. This role requires proficiency in various dental software and techniques, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management and appointment scheduling Assist in orthodontic procedures and provide support during pediatric dental care Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure comprehensive patient care Document medical histories, treatment plans, and any changes in patients' conditions

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice Experience with Dentrix software is highly preferred Background in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication Previous dental office experience is essential, with a focus on customer service skills Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is required Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
