Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support the overall health and well-being of our patients. Duties

Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software Manage patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and treatment plans Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring a comfortable experience Support pediatric patients with gentle care tailored to their needs Assist with orthodontic procedures when necessary, including appliance adjustments and patient education Maintain a sterile environment by following infection control protocols

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing New grads are welcome. Experience with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is an asset but not mandatory. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred Dental assisting experience is advantageous but not required Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $39.10-$47.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
