Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment, and promoting oral health education. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and scheduling. Assist in orthodontic procedures as needed, providing support to the dental team. Work with pediatric patients, ensuring a friendly and reassuring atmosphere. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office environment. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide high-quality care. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Skills

Proficient in using Dentrix software for efficient office management. Experience in orthodontics is preferred but not required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication. Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is beneficial for working with younger patients. Strong customer service skills to ensure positive patient interactions. Pay: $35.59-$54.78 per hour
