Job Description

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an outstanding hygienist to join our established dental clinic that has been operating for 30 years. Here, we place an emphasis on treating our patients and each other with compassion and kindness.

Days: Every other Saturday

(even every Saturday would be available should you choose)

We make sure we take extra time to spend with our loved ones as well. We close for at least 2 weeks in the summer and 2 weeks at the end of the year.

Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays (digital)
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain a a clean and sterile working environment

- Sterilizing instruments
- Document patient treatment records accurately and efficiently

Requirements:
- Valid dental hygiene license
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software; HARP certification
- Excellent friendly communicator with professional and compassionate attention to patient care
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus ( Bonus if you speak Portuguese, Spanish or Italian) but not at all necessary as long as you communicate well in English

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
