Registered Dental Hygienist

you will play a critical role in promoting good oral health and preventing dental issues. You will work closely with our patients to provide preventive dental care and educate them on maintaining healthy smiles. If you are a skilled and compassionate professional, this position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives.

Schedule:

Full-Time



Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-5pm



Tuesday and Thursday 10am-8pm



2 Saturdays/month 9am-4pm

Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains. Examine patients' oral health by assessing their gums, teeth, and soft tissues. Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as needed. Screen patients for signs of oral diseases, such as gum disease or cavities. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized home care instructions. Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as necessary. Assist in creating treatment plans and maintaining accurate patient records. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure coordinated patient care. Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental hygiene and preventive care. Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Current dental hygiene license. Strong clinical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Proficiency in using dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Commitment to maintaining dental hygiene licensure through continuing education.
