Bigstone Health Commission in Edmonton, AB is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Dental Benefits Adjudicator to join our talented Health Team. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess and manually adjudicate dental benefit requests.
Act as an advocate for all BCN members of the health benefits program.
Work with the members and service providers in a pleasant and efficient manner.
Provide program information, advice, and assistance to members and service providers.
Maintain database and provider files.
Must be dependable and reliable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Be extremely observant to detail and accuracy.
Education and Experience:
Dental Office Assistant Certificate/Training or equivalent is a requirement.
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree, and or equivalent training and combined experience.
Minimum 2 years work experience in an office/medical/or dental setting.
Knowledge of the Non-Insured Health Benefits programs is an asset.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
Standard First Aid with CPR.
