Position Summary
As an
Instructor in our Dental Assisting Distance Program
, you will be responsible for providing classroom and lab instruction to students of CBBC Career College using course materials approved by NS Department of Labour and Advanced Education. This is a nationally accredited program and maintains the highest standards of excellence.Some of the modules in the Dental Assisting Distance Program include:
Dental Sciences and Basic Terminology Infection Control and Microbiology Chair Side Procedures Patient Records and Charting Dental Radiography Dental Specialties Oral Care
Job responsibilities:
Delivering instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum. Preparing lesson plans and teaching aids that utilize a variety of teaching methods to promote student success. Monitoring and discussing students' progress with them individually and as a group. Assigning and posting grades. Supervising work placements.
Qualifications:
Dental Assisting diploma, or be a Registered Dental Assistant in Nova Scotia
Must have 5 years of experience in the field.
A Criminal Record and Social Media check will be conducted.
