We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant/Floater to join our family owned and operated dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking and play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operatory flow across 4-5 operatories, ensuring instruments are properly sterilized, rooms are cleaned, and prepared for the next patient.
Position: Dental Assistant / Floater
Maintain strict adherence to instrument sterilization protocols
Efficiently clean and prepare multiple operatories (4-5) between patients to ensure seamless turnover
Assist clinical staff by managing operatory workflow and supplies
Support laboratory tasks including printing models and fabricating retainers and nightguards using PrimeScan and SpringRay systems
Collaborate with the dental team to optimize patient care and clinic efficiency
Qualifications
Previous dental assistant experience is an asset but not required
Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail and time management
Familiarity with dental lab procedures and digital scanning systems (PrimeScan, SpringRay) an asset
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe clinical environment
IPAC certification recommended
