Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the Ontario Dental Assisting Association

Job Summary

We're seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Level II Dental Assistant who is passionate about building strong patient relationships. The ideal candidate will bring their dental assisting expertise and comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures to our dynamic team. This role includes evenings and Saturdays.

Duties:

Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Perform various office tasks as needed
Qualifications:

Certified Level II Assistant HARP certified Previous dental assisting experience is preferred Knowledge of Tracker Dental Software an asset Strong written and communication skills Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Punctual and reliable
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
