Job Title: Dental Assistant - Level 2

Broadway Family Dental in Tillsonburg is looking for a certified Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our team. Our practice has grown and we need to hire more staff. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high quality oral healthcare to patients. If you are passionate about dentistry and patient care, we would love to meet you. We are NOT corporate-owned and have a friendly working atmosphere.

Compensation is based on skill set and experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Perform all work duties with a high level of quality and professionalism

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Operatory setup and tear down

- Maintain proper infection control measures throughout performance of all work duties

- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take quality dental x-rays and intra-oral photos

- take impressions, pour up models and perform other laboratory tasks
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

- perform new patient interviews and assist hygienists with treatment and records
- Ensure the dental office is well-maintained, clean, and organized
- Schedule patient appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and maintain confidentiality

- occasionally perform child recall appointments

- communicate and work well with staff in a busy group dental practice.
