Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Abel dent Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when necessary. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Support orthodontic or pediatric procedures as needed, demonstrating adaptability to various specialties.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; familiarity with CAD technology is a plus. Proficiency in using dental software such as Abel dent Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is an advantage but not required.
