We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and following up on appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic.
Support orthodontic procedures when necessary, including fitting appliances and providing care instructions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience.
Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and practices.
Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental applications is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients, demonstrating patience and empathy.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and appointments.
