Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and CAD systems, is highly desirable. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Ensure patient comfort and address their concerns professionally Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment in compliance with health regulations Support front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice Knowledge of dental assisting procedures, medical terminology, and infection control protocols Familiarity with dental software including Epic and Dentrix is preferred Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or CAD systems is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and commitment to providing excellent patient care
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.53-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
