Overview

We are seeking a full-time (4 to 5 days a week) Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. Experience with dental software such as Abledent as well as familiarity with dental surgery will be highly valued. Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including surgical treatments Take digital dental radiographs and scan using intraoral scanner Manage patient records using dental software Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and assist in inventory management of dental supplies Support administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations

Skills

Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with knowledge in dental surgeries Experience with dental software platforms such as Abeldent is preferred Familiarity with digital imaging technology to enhances patient care capabilities Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures
