Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, along with knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly desirable. Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterilized and ready. Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry. Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix. Manage patient flow efficiently, including scheduling appointments and updating medical histories. Support the dental reception team with administrative tasks as needed, including check-in/check-out processes. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards at all times.

Experience

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, especially with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry. Familiarity with dental software programs such as Epic and Dentrix is highly advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry enhances communication within the team. Experience in dental assisting with CAD imaging or digital radiography is a plus. Certification in dental assisting or related training is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates.
