Applewood Dental Centre is a practice that strives to create a positive patient experience by focusing on clinical and service excellence, and to effectively partner with patients in the proactive management of their oral health.

Schedule:

Minimum of 35 hours per week. Job Types: Full-time

Schedule: Monday 10:30-7 Tuesday 9-5 Wednesday 9-5 Thursday 9-5 Friday 9-1

No weekends

Pay: $26.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week

Responsibilities:

Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with IPAC standards. Provide chair-side assistance and ensure smooth patient flow. Take and develop dental radiographs (HARP certified requirement). iTero and Trios experience a plus Document treatment notes and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix Support infection prevention and sterilization processes as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene, pre- and post-treatment care. Maintain operatory readiness and assist with inventory and supply management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.

About You:

MUST be a Level I / Level II Certified Dental Assistant

Experience with Dentrix Practice Management Software preferred but not essential HARP (required)
