Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced dental technology and fostering patient relationships. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued.

Responsibilities



Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, and orthodontic treatments Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when needed Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix Support front desk duties as a Dental Receptionist when required, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Assist with laboratory procedures related to dental appliances or orthodontic devices Maintain knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry to facilitate effective communication

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Dentrix Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures Experience with CAD technology for digital impressions or restorations is preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred; ongoing education in dental assisting is a plus Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
