Position Overview
AF Dental is seeking a skilled and motivated Level II Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of clinical experience, be certified to work in Ontario, and bring a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Fluency in Tagalog is highly preferred to better serve our large Filipino patient community.
Responsibilities
Chairside assisting during dental procedures (restorative, prosthodontic, surgical, etc.)
Taking and processing dental X-rays (HARP certified)
Instrument sterilization and maintaining infection control protocols
Updating and managing patient records
Supporting patient education and ensuring comfort during visits
Contributing to a smooth, efficient, and friendly clinic environment
Qualifications
Certified Level II Dental Assistant (Ontario)
Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience in Ontario
HARP certification (mandatory)
Fluency in English; Tagalog language skills preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team and deliver patient-centered care
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
