Liftlock Family Dentistry is seeking a

Certified Level II Dental Assistant

to join our team on a part-time basis. No evenings or weekends (3 days per week, with flexibility on days). We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual with strong interpersonal skills, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced dental environment.

Our practice is a modern, patient-focused office equipped with:

AbelDent software for electronic charting Digital radiography A fully modernized sterilization centre

Responsibilities

Chairside Assisting

Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments (passing instruments, suctioning, mixing materials, etc.) Ensure patient comfort throughout appointments

Clinical Duties

(Level II intra-oral duties as permitted in Ontario)

Taking of dental radiographs (digital) Take impressions for study models, bleaching trays, and sports guards Place and remove rubber dams

Infection Control & Sterilization

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment following IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) standards Maintain operatory cleanliness between patients Monitor and document sterilization logs
