We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments. Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently. Prepare dental materials and assist with the organisation of clinical supplies. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental tools and work areas in compliance with health and safety standards. Support administrative tasks such as updating patient information and managing correspondence as needed.

Qualifications

Prior experience is preferred but not essential; on-the-job training will be provided for suitable candidates. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically to patients. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Good IT skills for managing electronic health records and scheduling systems. Demonstrated ability to work well within a team, showing professionalism and attention to detail. A caring attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care and support.
