Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Assist Orthodontic Hygienist Scan Patients using the Itero scanner Take impressions , complete lab work when needed Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain patient records accurately using Abeldent Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to ensure efficient office operations. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area in compliance with safety protocols. Support front office staff with administrative tasks when necessary, including answering phones and managing patient inquiries. Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care in a friendly environment.

Experience



Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we welcome candidates with relevant training or certifications. Familiarity with dental software systems Abeldent is highly desirable. Experience orthodontics is a plus, enhancing our ability to serve diverse patient needs. Knowledge of medical terminology and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) can be beneficial for certain tasks within the practice. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
