Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with various dental procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health.

Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently Handle administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and patient follow-up Collaborate with orthodontics, pediatrics, and other specialists as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is desirable
