Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job Summary

We are seeking a

dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant

to join our team. The successful candidate will assist multiple specialists, support patient care, and ensure smooth day-to-day clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists and specialists during procedures, including surgical, restorative, and endodontic treatments Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control standards Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) Record and maintain accurate patient information and treatment notes Provide excellent patient care and comfort before, during, and after procedures Manage dental supplies and inventory Collaborate with administrative staff to coordinate appointments and patient flow Uphold all clinic policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) designation from an accredited program Current

licensure/registration

with [appropriate provincial college or association, e.g., CDSBC if in BC] Current

CPR and First Aid

certification Previous experience working in a specialist dental office (oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, or endodontics) is an asset Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control practices Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented

Pay: $23.50-$30.70 per hour
