We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant level I or II to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health. Experience with dental software such as Tracker is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including orthodontics and pediatrics.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Tracker is an asset. Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in clinical tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
