Join our dynamic dental team in Kingston, Ontario as a Dental Assistant!

What we require from you:

- NDAEB and HARP certification

- Valid CPR/First AID Certification

- Valid IPAC Certification

Duties:

- Clinically assist dentists during dental procedures.

- Educate patients on how to best achieve best oral health outcomes.

- Set up treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain dental equipment.

- Take radiographs and dental impressions.

- Complete in-house laboratory procedures i.e. polishing night guards

- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality treatment plans and care to patients.

Assets:

- Knowledge of ABELDent and MaxAssist (previously RecallMax). If you haven't used these before, don't stress about it. The learning curve is small.

- Experience or interest in assisting patients requiring implants or orthodontic care

- Experience or interest in providing care to pediatric patients, especially those requiring conscious sedation

- Thorough understanding of medical terminology and health and safety requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
