Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Level II Dental Assistant to join our dental practice for Maternity leave.The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional setting where your skills in dental assisting and medical terminology will be essential for success.

Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments Assist the dentist during various procedures Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Manage patient records accurately using Abeldent software Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards Support managing patient flow Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and materials

Requirements

Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity using Abeldent Certified Level II Dental Assistant HARP Certified Current CPR certification Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilization procedures that complies with IPAC Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Ability to work well within a team of dental professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
