Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area in compliance with infection control protocols.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with dental software system Abeldent an asset. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 - 42 per week
