Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic
Certified Dental Assistant
to join our team atGeorgian Mall Family Dental West
. As an integral part of our practice, you will collaborate with our dental professionals to deliver outstanding patient care in a supportive and welcoming environment.Key Responsibilities:
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and reassurance throughout their visit. Capture and process dental radiographs (x-rays). Maintain and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas in accordance with safety protocols. Offer patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment instructions. Accurately update and maintain patient records.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program.
- X-ray certification HARP required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing quality patient care.
