Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team for additional support. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care while assisting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Days Required

Tuesdays 7:00am - 4:45pm

Thursdays 7:00am - 4:45pm

Fridays 7:00am - 12:00pm

Duties

Assist Dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials Assist Dental Hygiene team with charting and record keeping Prepare treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Take dental radiographs, as needed Assist with sterilization including maintaining sterilization records Handle administrative tasks to help manage patient flow efficiently Collaborate with the entire team to ensure a smooth operation of the practice

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential Familiarity with dental software such as Abeldent is advantageous Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude HARP Certification is required
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour
