Job Description

Full time Level 2 Dental assistant to join are team. Min. 2 years experience required

Unique opportunity: This position will also en tales working 1 day per week at our hospital location ( Clinic days are Wednesday) 9-5

All other shifts will be at our Hamilton Upper James Street Location

Responsibilities Include/But not inclusive to:

-Strong Communication skills

-Chair side assisting for all types of procedures ie: Implants, bone grafting, endo, crown &bridge, restorative etc.

-Educate patients on oral hygiene and post operative care

-Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

-prepare operatories and dismantle in accordance to IPAC Guidelines

-Taking radiographs

-Sterilization as per IPAC standards

-Taking and pouring models/ and or scanning (Training can be provided for scanning)

Experience and skills

-NDAEB Certificate

-HARP Certification

-CPR Certification

Abledent knowledge would be great, but not mandatory. (Training can be provided for the right candidate)
