Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during visits. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas to adhere to safety protocols. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; experience in Orthodontics or Pediatrics is a plus. Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure. IPAC and HARP certifications

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
