Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.

Take and develop dental radiographs as directed by the dentist.

Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures.

Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area in compliance with safety protocols.

Understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation

Experience with 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology is advantageous

Requirements

Level 1 or 2 certification, new grads are encouraged to apply

Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.

Familiarity with dental software (Abel) is highly desirable.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of dentistry.

Experience working in a digital office with an onsite lab is a plus

Monday 8am-4pm

Tuesday 1-pm

Wednesday 12-8pm

Thursday 8am-4pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 35 per week
