Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and
experienced Dental Assisting Professional
to join our dedicated team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the dental assisting profession, strong teaching skills, and experience in curriculum development. This role requires the development and delivery of educational materials and coursework for our dental assisting diploma programs, aimed at preparing students for successful careers in the dental field.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum and instructional materials for specialized areas of the Dental Assisting profession, including but not limited to: Dental Introduction, Dental Anatomy, Embryology, and Histology , Prevention of Disease Transmission ,Oral Pathology, Dental Pharmacology , Diagnostic Records , Dental Materials , Preventative Dentistry , Dental Radiography , Dental Practice Management , Clinical Practice.
Ensure that all curriculum aligns with the requirements of industry standards, regulations, and accreditation bodies.
Foster a positive, engaging learning environment that emphasizes hands-on and experiential learning via appropriate curriculum development.
Contribute to program improvement and development based on feedback, industry trends, and new technologies in dental assisting.
Requirements :
MUST have A Post-secondary certification in Dental Assisting .
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a MUST.
Strong understanding of dental procedures, patient care practices, and industry standards.
Demonstrated experience in teaching, mentoring, or curriculum development in a classroom or clinical setting is an asset.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in an educational environment.
