Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, motivated and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various dental procedures and provide support to both the dentist and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments
- Take dental x-rays (BW's, PA's, PAN, CBCT)
- Sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
- Current registration with College of Alberta Dental Assistants
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of iTero scanner
- Sedation Assistant Certification Course (Not Mandatory but nice to have)
