Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and experience Level II Dental Assistant to join our dynamic and growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth operation of the practice. Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric patients when required.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques and practices with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Level II. Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Dentrix is required. Knowledge of orthodontics and experience working with pediatric patients is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
