Job Overview:
Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant where you will play a vital role in supporting our dental practice. We are looking for a candidate who is knowledgeable in dental terminology, proficient with dental software, familiar with Dexis or x-ray software, has customer service skills and possesses expertise in Dental assisting and Dental sterilization duties.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations and treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Manage patient records and update medical histories accurately
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries with professionalism
- Support the front desk with administrative tasks when needed

Requirements:
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
- Proficiency in medical software such as Paradigm and Dexis
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and orthodontics
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Familiarity with softwares for dental applications
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
