Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, coordinating patient and client interactions, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the office. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with medical and dental software, and a strong understanding of medical terminology. Prior experience in dental or medical office administration is highly preferred. The Administrator will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office workflows, supporting clinical staff, and delivering exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities



Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy Handle multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing patient information Coordinate appointment scheduling and follow-up communications to ensure timely patient care Support the clinical team by preparing necessary documentation and verifying patient information Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and office policies Manage billing processes and insurance claims as needed Maintain a clean and organized office environment to promote efficiency

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Office Administrator is an asset. Training will be provided for the right candidate with no experience. Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix is an asset Experience working with multi-line phone systems in a busy office setting Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Office experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Prior administrative experience in a medical or dental office is preferred
