We're a friendly, fast paced general practice serving families in the Bayview and Eglinton area. We run a patient-first, friendly front desk and value clear communication, efficiency, and empathy. Our team focuses on patient care while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The Role:
You'll be the first and last point of contact for our patients - managing phones, scheduling, treatment planning, taking payments, and sending electronic claims and estimates, answering questions - while keeping the day running smoothly with a smile!
The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, is friendly and personable, can multitask and is an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated to patient care. We are a paperless office so computer literacy and proficiency are required. Excellent written and verbal English language skills are also a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients, answer multi - line phones, manage email/text inquiries
Schedule and confirm appointments, optimize the day for provider time
Present treatment plans and fees, collect payments at time of service
Create accurate estimates, process predeterminations, and send electronic claims
Verify insurance details for estimates, explain coverage/limitations clearly to patients
Check patients in/out, update charts, medical histories, alerts, and consents
Coordinate recalls and unscheduled treatment follow ups
Prepare day sheets, support smooth handoff with clinical team
Manage referrals, specialist correspondence, and lab cass
Maintain reception cleanliness
Protect patient privacy and follow infection control
Support basic AR follow ups and insurance statement payments
Qualifications:
Current CPR/WHMIS Certification or willing to obtain
High school Diploma or Equivalent
Fun, confident, positive and forward thinking.
Hard-working, ethical, punctual, reliable, responsible and accountable.
Capable of working in a fast-paced office and handling stressful situations.
Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and applications is a must.
Proficient typing skills.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be willing to learn and adapt to new ideas & techniques.
Must be able to efficiently take direction.
Perform trained skills proficiently and consistently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
