Dental Administrator

Job Description
We are looking for a dental administrator to join our practice in Scarborough. The role will primarily be administrative in nature with the possibility of some chairside duties (charting).
Days of Work
: Monday - Thursday, occasional Friday, no weekendsHours
: Daytime onlyQualifications
:- experience in treatment coordination, insurance claims, pre-determinations, patient care, time management and prioritization
- proficient with computers
- progressive and adaptable to change
- minimum three years dental reception experience
- experience with Tracker an asset
- HARP certification/prior assisting experience is an asset
:
- check in patients according to office protocol; verify, update patient information
- confirm appointments
- prepare and present treatment plans and options to patient
- respond to estimate inquiries on procedures
- ensure proper patient follow-up
- optimize scheduling
- process payments and submission of dental insurance claims
- complete all tasks in an efficient manner
