We are seeking a motivated, experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team and help ensure our front office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Dental Administrator, you will support the day-to-day administrative operations of the practice. Your duties will include:
Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
Handling phone calls and email inquiries in a professional, patient-focused manner
Assisting with patient intake and ensuring records are updated accurately
Supporting billing processes, including processing payments and assisting with insurance claims
Coordinating with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and care
Helping maintain office organization and assisting with supply ordering as needed
Providing general administrative support to the team and learning office systems and workflows
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of dental or medical billing is an asset (training provided)
Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental, or willingness to learn)
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
A positive, patient-oriented attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role
