We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical or dental office environments, with experience in managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential for maintaining smooth operations and providing excellent support to both staff and patients. The Administrator will be responsible for overseeing front desk activities, managing electronic medical records, and ensuring compliance with office protocols.
Responsibilities
Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and handling inquiries.
Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for the office.
Utilize electronic medical records systems like Cleardent
Handle multi-line phone systems to facilitate communication within the office and with patients.
Assist in maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Experience with dental insurance billing
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
Provide support in billing processes and insurance verification as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience with multi-line phone systems is desirable.
