About the Role:
We're seeking a friendly and organized
Dental Administrator/ Dental Receptionist
to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys enjoys creating a welcoming experience for patients while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations in a modern, patient-centered clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist patients in person, over the phone, and by email with professionalism and empathy.
Manage
front-desk operations
including appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient flow to optimize our daily schedule.
Maintain and update accurate patient information in our
cloud-based Electronic Medical Records (Oryx)
system.
Process insurance claims, verify coverage, and manage billing and payment processing.
Coordinate communication between patients, dentists, hygienists, and specialists.
Handle confidential information in compliance with
Personal Health Information Protection Act
(
PHIPA)
and clinic policies.
Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area and assist with opening and closing duties.
Provide team with
administrative support
such as record management, supply orders, and correspondence.
Requirements:
1+ year of experience as a
Dental Administrator
,
Dental Receptionist
, or
Medical Office Assistant
(preferred).
Diploma or certification in Dental Office Administration, Health Office Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Knowledge of dental insurance billing, treatment coordination, and dental terminology (preferred).
Proficiency with
Oryx
or Similar EMR/Dental Management System,
Microsoft Office 365
, and
Google Workspace
.
Excellent multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff.
