Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dependable Demolition Worker to join our construction team. This role involves safely dismantling structures and preparing sites for new construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with various demolition techniques, operate heavy equipment, and possess a strong understanding of construction safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of skills including blueprint reading, carpentry, and the use of power tools.

Duties



Safely demolish buildings and structures following project specifications and safety standards Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes for demolition tasks Use hand tools and power tools for precise demolition work and material removal Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project scope Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and site restoration after demolition activities Perform concrete breaking, concrete forming, masonry work, and concrete finishing as needed Install or remove cabinetry, flooring, tiles, or other fixtures during renovation phases Conduct plumbing, electrical, or carpentry tasks related to demolition projects when required Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications



Proven experience in demolition work or related construction fields Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is preferred Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Familiarity with concrete forming, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work, plumbing, restoration, caulking, and construction painting is a plus Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Strong understanding of safety procedures in a construction environment Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces Valid certifications for heavy equipment operation are advantageous A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 60 per week

Work Location: In person
