Delivery & Yard Operations Technician

Job Summary

The Delivery & Yard Operations Technician is a key hands-on role responsible for the safe, efficient movement of equipment, rentals, and inventory in and out of our yard and to customer job sites. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, working outdoors, operating different vehicles, and being part of the heartbeat of daily operations.

No two days are the same. One day you may be delivering equipment with a semi, the next coordinating rental equipment movements, unloading incoming freight, or reorganizing the yard to improve flow and efficiency. This role is critical to keeping Maple Ag & Outdoor running smoothly.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliveries & Pickups

Hold and maintain a valid

Class 1A driver's license

Safely complete deliveries and pickups using: Semi trucks One-ton and three-quarter-ton trucks Deliver equipment and rental units to customer job sites and pick up returns Represent Maple Ag & Outdoor professionally at customer locations

Rental Equipment Movement

Coordinate and execute movement of rental equipment to and from job sites Assist with staging, loading, and returning rental units Ensure equipment is positioned efficiently for rentals, service, or delivery

Yard Operations & Inventory Flow (When not on deliveries)

Unload incoming trucks and supplier shipments Move, stage, and organize equipment and inventory within the yard Maintain an efficient, safe, and functional yard layout Assist with customer pickups and on-site loading support Support continuous improvement of yard flow and organization

General Operations Support

Assist with day-to-day operational needs as required Work closely with Rentals, Service, Parts, and Sales teams Contribute to a clean, professional, and safety-focused work environment

What We're Looking For

Valid

Class 1A driver's license

Strong work ethic and pride in doing quality work Safety-focused with attention to detail Team-oriented and dependable Experience with equipment, trailers, or logistics is an asset (but not required)
