We have grown our staff to 90+ and occupy a 20,000 square foot workshop. We utilize 50+ company trucks to install heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and radiant floor heating systems in and around the Calgary and surrounding areas.

Delivery & Warehouse Support/Laborer - Plumbing

|

Staff in this role support and assist our clients, customers and builders with the delivery and construction of residential home constructions packages in and around the Calgary and surrounding areas.

Key executables

for this role include the ability to work with minimal or no supervision, while contributing as a high value member of a high-volume department. The ability to successfully communicate, coordinate and plan for production and delivery related work while remaining in constant contact and utilizing professional communication in the planning and scheduling of work- and work-related projects.

Staff in this role support and advise on appropriateness of parts, supplies or materials requested while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, legislation and safety protocols.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Routing and trip planning

- as it related to the timely and accurate delivery of materials to local job sites.

Delivery, relocate, and/or hauling/disposal

- of existing tubs, fiberglass tubs, hot water tanks, etc.

Physically transporting materials

- both by hand (lifting up to 75 lbs unassisted / 100 lbs in supported 2-person lift scenarios) and via propane forklift.

Participate and support

- the department and company in warehouse/shop related tasks and work.

Accurate auditing, tracking and filling of client, builder and customer data

- including ensuring communication of special instructions, inventory audits and assisting in package building and setup.

Professional and Collaborative

-ensure interactions are conducted in a professional, respectful and collaborative manner with thought given to adherence with applicable HSE, HR and company related policies and legislative requirements.

Support general maintenance and cleanliness

- of the warehouse and surrounding areas including the yard.

Organizational Reporting Structure:

Reports To:

Warehouse Lead and/or Department Manager (in lieu). Role receives operational guidance, direction and leadership directly via reporting to the organization's Warehouse Lead (or Department Manager in lieu) and will receive indirect guidance from the Department Managers and/or Senior Leaders as required.

Direct Reports:

None.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

3+ years of Warehouse and/or Materials Management

related experience and/or related experience.

Self Motivated

- able to consistently demonstrate a reliable, 'can-do' mentality.

Knowledge

and understanding of related systems, maintenance and repair techniques and/or troubleshooting understanding to support day-to-day operations and fulfillment obligations.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills:

with a high level of accuracy and high attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities:

proven ability to prioritize, manage and complete time sensitive tasks meeting and/or exceeding customer, client and/or builder expectations.

Communication and Teamwork skills and abilities:

strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for clear and concise messaging and collaborating as a team. Must be physically capable and comfortable, sitting, standing, bending and reaching per weights and objects described above Current and valid Forklift operators certification. Valid Class 5 Drivers license (w/ submission of Drivers abstract required prior to presentation of an offer). Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member. High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Assets & Skills of Benefit:

Previous experience in the industry, particularly in similar roles and/or scopes of work.

Strong understanding of industry standards, terminology and common related issues. Strong desire to learn, grow and develop within an encouraging team environment.
