Job Description

We are looking for a (Class 1 or 3) DELIVERY TRUCK DRIVER in the Kelowna area with air brakes certification and standard transmission experience. This position will start as a part time covering Kootenay routes as a start working towards full time delivery truck driver. Applicants with a clean driver's abstract considered first.

Qualifications

Class 1 or 3 Driver with the ability and experience to drive standard transmission Polite/courteous service for our valued customers. Knowledge of the Okanagan Valley to Kamloops an asset. Knowledge of power tailgates and pallet jacks and hand carts. One position will be to Langley and back to Kelowna 4 times a week. Ability to handle heavy lifting. Logs and day trips to be recorded and kept on file according to NSC standards.

Responsibilities

Operate a delivery truck to transport goods to various locations safely and efficiently. Perform heavy lifting and loading/unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Communicate effectively with team members and dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections, adhering to safety regulations.
Hand carts are supplied for all inside deliveries.
